Bishop Dr. Marvin C. Draper

Bishop Dr. Marvin C. Draper is the founder and Senior Pastor of Abounding Praise Worship Center. God placed a calling on his life over forty years ago, and since then he has dedicated himself to preaching, teaching, and building up God’s people. Many know him as “A Man Before His Time” because of the vision and revelation God gave him early in ministry. His heart is for worship, deliverance, and helping people reach their full potential in Christ.

Bishop Draper was ordained in 1980 and has continued to grow in biblical study and training throughout the years. Before stepping into full-time ministry, he worked faithfully at UPS for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He and his wife, Pastor Charlene, have been married for more than 40 years, and together they raised three sons and are now blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
